RULES
Scoring System
If you haven't played for a while, the scoring system has changed. The following rules were introduced internationally in 2006.
Summary of Scoring Rules:
Matches will consist of the best of three games.
Each game will be scored to 21 points.
Teams change ends at the end of games one - and two (if the match goes to a third game).
If match goes to a third game, teams will change ends in third game when the score reaches 11 points.
Points will be won on every serve– so, if a team loses serve that is also a point scored to the other team.
If score is 20-all, game will continue until one team wins by 2 points.
If score goes to 29-all, team that scores 30th point wins.
Each Team only has one serve. When serve is lost it goes over to the other team.
If the score is “Even” the player on the Right Service Court serves.
If the score is “Odd” the player on the Left Service Court serves.
