Classes 4, 5 & 6

 

Conditions of Entry

1.      The Tournament will be conducted in accordance with the Laws of Badminton and the rules and regulations of the International Badminton Federation (IBF) and the Badminton Ireland (BI) that are pertinent to the competition.

 

2.      Competitors must be affiliated to the Badminton Ireland and Leinster Branch B.U.I. through their clubs.

 

3.      Entry Fee €12/£11 per person per event. 2 events-€20/£18 A separate entry form must be used by each player.  No telephone entries will be accepted.  No pair will be accepted for a Doubles Event unless Entry Forms have been received from both players.

 

4.      The Tournament will be conducted under the current Tournament Regulations that have been established for the event by the BUI.

 

5.      It is a condition of entry to all events that players will, if required, undertake a drug test involving the provision of a urine sample under qualified supervision for subsequent analysis.  For all players who will be under 18 on the first day of the tournament the consent of the player’s Parent/Guardian is required.  See entry form for parent’s/guardian’s signature of consent.

 

6.      The Badminton Ireland rules on clothing and advertising will apply. 

 

7.      The Committee reserve the right to abandon any event and its decision on any matter not specifically covered in these Conditions and Tournament Regulations shall be final.

 

8.       All events will be played as a round robin. 

 

9.       All events will be played using rally point scoring.
